A new missionary in Africa
Wednesday, 23 January 2008 Written by fra Ivica Perić

father Juro Tokalic

On monday, 21. january 2008., a new missionary father Juro Tokalic arrived to Africa. What does it mean to be missionary, and who is a missionary? To be a missionary means to be send from “somebody” and to “somewhere” and at the same time to have a task and goal. We are all who are sent from God in this world; and the task for everybody is to fill it’s own life, living with others and for others, and to fill out a goal to come to Our Father in Heaven. Father Juro Tokalic was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was ordained as a priest in 1998. He was working nine years in Bosnia in different parishes. Father Juro decided to come to work in Africa to live in a different world for the others as St. Francis and Jesus did. Fra Juro will live and work in the Province of St. Francis of Assisi in Africa, Madagascar an Mauritius.

May the God bless his missionary life.
